  • Wow! What a week. We are having a revival at our church with Nancy Harmon and it has been great, but it wears the body out. We have been cooking and serving and enjoying the services. There's only one more day and I will make it but I am starting to wear down. Guess I'm getting old!!!

  • Well, it's been awhile! That's an understatement. So much going on. One son graduated from high school and the other one graduated from eighth grade. Where did the time go?  My daughter no longer plays basketball but started softball again.  Two older kids are now driving and not just me crazy! Actual vehicles.    Hay can finally be cut so I will be spending a lot of my summer in the fields.   Got me a Rainbow vacuum. Cool invention. Boy is my house dirty!!!! Well, got to make supper. TTFN!

Well, here it is Saturday. It is about 100° outside. We loaded some more farm machinery today. My two oldest and the hubby got the first load and then I helped with the second. Thankfully that is all we are doing today.

My son jake went to a truck pull with his friends. I can't believe he wanted to. It is way too hot for anyone to be out there.

Yesterday was my youngest sons b.d. He's growing up like the rest of them. He had a good time. I took everyone to the pool. Then we came home and they played basketball and then we had cake and ice cream. He got an mp3 player, some clothes, and some money. He liked all of his gifts.

I'm going to take a shower and cool off now so everyone stay cool if possible. Have a nice day!

  • I made it through the weekend just fine. Had to load two loads of junk iron and when I say loads, I mean loads that are 4-5 tons. Of course the bobcat did most of the  work, but I had to help. But I made it.

I finally went to the chiropractor. Only because my son needed to go and I took him. I am SOOOO glad I went. I must say I do feel alot better. Good thing too, because my house is such a wreck and my 11 year old's b.d. party is Friday, so I've got to get crackin. I'm going to bribe him and make him help. Nothing wrong with some shameless bribing.

My 16 yr.old actually had to spend some money on his truck today and it totally devasted him. Thirty-five measly dollars. I told him now he knows how his dad feels. He's spent alot more than that.

My daughter got back from Branson. She says Pierce Arrow is a great show if anyone goes to Branson. There's a guy there that is in the World Record Book for having the lowest voice in the world. She said he shook the whole place and made her think her phone was ringing.

Got to babysit my niece yesterday. She's three months old. She has three older brothers so my brother finally got his girl. I'm going to do my best to spoil her rotten and send her back home to him. Serves him right.

Well, gotta get cleaning. Have a nice day!

My, how things change. I started working at my local Wal-Mart about a month ago. Cashiering. Not as bad as I thought it would be and in these days and times I guess Im glad to have a job at all. Especially after not working in the public for 15 years. Be careful what you pray for, God just might gi
